The Ready Mix Concrete
Division consists of 14 Sterling McNeilus Concrete Mixers.
Our fleet of modern, rear discharge concrete trucks is ready
on demand when our customers call. From the homebuilder, to
state DOT projects, to large scale commercial projects, you
will be assured of receiving the best product available combined
with superior service. Our North Carolina State Approved ready
mix concrete plant is strategically located less than one
mile from both Interstate 85 and US #1 Highway. This location
ensures fast efficient service with excellent routes to the
North, South, East, and West of the area.
Our ready mix plant is also located
adjacent to the CSX Railway System which enables us to receive
bulk shipments of cement used in our ready mix production
which increases storage capacity and allows for greater
flexibility. Our railroad terminal is able to accomodate
up to 10 rail cars of bulk portland cement at any given time.
This proves extremely beneficial when supplying large scale
commercial projects. Greystone concrete mixes begin with
a strength of 3000 P.S.I. for
most driveway and floor applications to the strongest of
State Concrete DOT mixes used in bridges and the interstate
roadway.
Our ACI certified field technicians are readily available
to insure quality control over any size project. We have
over
60 ready mix design mixes for every application our customers
call for. Whatever the application, we continue to strive
